CBD, Esplanade, Edge Hill, Earlville, Woree, Edmonton, Gordonvale and surrounds. Much of the city is in controlled airspace near Cairns Airport, so we confirm approvals before every job.

Northern Beaches

Machans Beach to Ellis Beach, including Trinity Beach, Kewarra Beach, Clifton Beach and Palm Cove. Popular for real estate, resorts and wedding venues.

Port Douglas & the Daintree

Port Douglas, Mossman, Daintree Village and Cape Tribulation. World Heritage rainforest and reef coastline, where park and marine park permits often apply.

Atherton Tablelands

Kuranda, Mareeba, Atherton, Malanda, Yungaburra and Ravenshoe. Farms, acreage, waterfalls and tourism businesses.

Cassowary Coast

Babinda, Innisfail, Mission Beach and Tully. Cane and banana farms, beachfront property and island views.

Outback FNQ

Chillagoe, Dimbulah and further west on request. Mining heritage, stations and infrastructure, with travel quoted upfront.

Cairns has an international airport, helicopter and seaplane traffic, national parks and a marine park on its doorstep. What is allowed changes from street to street.

Yes. We fly throughout Far North Queensland, including the Northern Beaches, Port Douglas and the Daintree, the Atherton Tablelands, the Cassowary Coast and outback areas such as Chillagoe. Include the location in your enquiry and we will plan the trip.

Many Cairns suburbs sit inside controlled airspace around Cairns Airport. As a CASA-certified operator we check the airspace for every job and apply for the approvals needed before we fly. Tell us the location and we will confirm what is possible and how much notice we need.

Yes, especially in the wet season, when rain, wind and low cloud can roll in quickly. For longer trips we plan around the forecast and agree a backup date with you.
